Mageo Superstars: This January, We’ll Turn One User’s Profile Per Week into an NFT
NFTs have arrived on Mageo! Our members are already used to working, studying, pursuing goals, talking to friends, eating, playing and sharing their everyday lives in a geolocation-based environment available across all devices and requiring no special hardware. Now, you can move further with us into the metaverse and capitalize on your efforts with a chance at real-world profits by becoming a Mageo Superstar and having your profile and avatar turned into an NFT on the Ethereum blockchain.
We’ll pick one winner each Friday in January. If you are chosen, you’ll be asked to opt in and supply us with your crypto wallet address. You’ll also be given the option to use your registered name or create a nickname that will be attached to the NFT. If you choose to participate, we’ll mint your avatar and profile as an NFT and send it to your wallet.
Submitting your profile for consideration is easy. Register at www.mageo.com if you haven’t already, and look in your profile for the “Tokenize this object” button (see below). Click it to submit your profile. Only serious submissions will be considered. In general, it takes at least a week of dedicated game play to acquire the digital assets (clothes, accessories, pets, etc.) to put together a quality avatar that will stand out from the crowd.
To be considered, your profile should also be complete, with an icon image and a cover image, which is displayed behind your avatar and can either be static or in GIF format. Posting interesting content on your wall, making friends and being socially active will also boost your chances of being selected.
Owners of the account tied to a Mageo Superstar NFT will still remain in charge of their account, profile and the appearance of their avatar. Nothing changes, except you now own an NFT of your digital self and can hold or sell it as you see fit. One caveat, we will reserve a 5% royalty in the contract for any subsequent sales of these NFTs.
For Mageo users, this is a great opportunity to earn real profits as they continue to create and build their presence and become immortalized in the rapidly expanding metaverse. For potential buyers, it’s another opportunity to collect and trade key digital assets and own one of the first of many pieces of this exciting new frontier. Plans are in the works to offer additional in-game Mageo items as NFTs at a future date, and we’ll likely run additional promotions for Mageo Superstars.
