To start a group, first sign up and log on to Mageo. This can be done either on our app (iOS or Android) or any web browser. In your profile, select “My groups” and then click “Create group” at the bottom of the page. Give it a name that accurately reflects the subject of your new group. Set the access, which can be open for the whole world; closed, which is visible but members will have to request your permission in order to join; or private, which is invisible to non-members and is by invitation only.
It’s that easy. Now, you have a discussion forum where you and your friends can gather online, interact, share and build a community around a shared topic. Most media files can be shared seamlessly, so there’s no limits on how you can express yourself.
Once you’ve created your group, you can customize it to display an icon image, add feature artwork, set permissions for members, add subtopics, and a host of other features that give you complete control over content and how discussions evolve.
