Our newly launched achievements program is the best way yet to reap huge rewards in Mageo and quickly rise to the top of our leaderboards. Each time you hit one of up to 10 levels for each of more than 50 categories, you’ll automatically receive wealth points and Mageons, our in-game currency. These rewards vary depending on the level of achievement, and all of your progress can easily be tracked so that it’s easier to set goals, hit them, and get rewarded.
In the Stats section of your Profile, you will find a convenient chart of icons listing all of the categories. Each icon is color-coded and will change colors as you progress through the levels. A gray icon means that you haven’t yet done any activities for that category. Blue signifies that you’ve achieved the first couple levels; green means that you are about halfway there, and red indicates that you’ve advanced to the later levels. If an icon shows gold (Congratulations!), you’ve completed all of the levels for that activity, and have accumulated serious wealth along the way. You can also display these pins on your profile so your friends can see your latest accomplishments.
This new system makes it easier than ever to set goals, track your progress, get motivated and focus on finishing the job before moving on to the next set of tasks. When you click one of the category icons, it will show what level you have already achieved. The progress bar indicates what you need to complete the level, and what reward you’ll receive for this accomplishment. In the example below, we’ve advanced to level 8 as a Farmer, and are close to completing it. If we play and win just 72 more farming minigames, we’ll get 500 wealth points and a really big prize of 500 Mageons.
Completing this level in just a day is manageable if we concentrate only on farming minigames. And 500 Mageons is all the motivation we need as they will buy a lot of luxurious Mageo goods, giving us a serious boost in the rankings when we spend them. Each of the more than 50 categories offer similarly rich prizes for each level of achievement, so there’s plenty of opportunity to go around.
For new users: Don’t be intimidated. Yes, Mageo was designed to be a challenging game, but once you learn to navigate through this complex virtual world of floating islands, advancing through the first few levels and learning about all the different jobs, tools, skills, energies and minigames along the way, you’ll find it easier and easier to accumulate wealth.
